Entrance Age

The Greater Waco Christian Academy follows Texas law in regards to entrance age. A child’s 5th birthday must occur on or before September 1st in order to begin kindergarten. 

Cost

The Greater Waco Christian Academy does not operate as a for-profit business, but rather as an extension of the ministry of the Greater Waco Baptist Church. Our education program is competitively priced with other programs in the area. You can find our tuition cost here.

Book Fee

The book fee for every student enrolling in the Greater Waco Christian Academy is $285. New books must be purchased every year. This fee is due by August 1st to guarantee that we have your child’s books before the start of the new school year.

Special Needs / Accommodations

The Greater Waco Christian Academy strives to make every accommodation necessary to provide an appropriate educational environment. However, at this time we are not able to accommodate every need for our members or the public due to budgetary constraints or limited qualified personnel. 

School Schedule

The Greater Waco Christian Academy operates on a daily schedule of 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Thursday. Students may be dropped off as early as 7:30 AM and picked up as late as 4:15 PM without additional fees.

After School Program

An after school program is provided through the Greater Waco Early Education Center. Additional information can be acquired here

Payment Options

The Greater Waco Christian Academy accepts payment by cash, check, and money orders. All payments must be turned in to the school office.  

Uniform Policy

Uniforms are required for all students in the 1st grade and above. Uniform policies are outlined in the student handbook.
